Graduation

It happens every Spring. Just as the trees start budding and the flowers start blooming, several teen moms working with TMC offices get ready to "graduate" out of the program. This year, two teen moms are getting ready to leave the Gurnee TMC office.

Edith and Dominique will be gradutating at the end of May. Both of these young women have accomplished so much during their time with us. Edith recieved her GED, began working full-time and is living on her own. Dominique graduated from high school and is getting ready to graduate from the College of Lake County with an Associates degree in accounting.

Edith and Dominique are amazing young women and mothers and it has truly been a joy to serve them. Graduating out of the TMC program successfully is exactly what we hoped they would do. And yet, just as mother birds bitter-sweetly look forward to their little ones leaving the nest to fly out on their own, we at TMC bitter-sweetly say good-bye to Edith and Dominique.

I pray that we have served them well ...............
