There is something refreshing about a New Year and decade ahead. As many of us think about new "resolutions," our teen mothers take January and the rest of the program year to identify and reach goals.  While goals and resolutions are easy to begin, we need the supportive helpers to manage and reach them. In reading an encouraging email one day, I remembered that God designed us for relationship and it is through those relationships that goals and needs can be realized. Teen Mother Choices is one of those relational ministries.  The needs and goals realized are not met from cold and distant institutions, but by personal, caring individuals that touch, serve and step into the world of a young mom and her child.  Meeting goals and reaching them take place best in a trusting relationship. TMC volunteers and mentors pour themselves into each young mom that attends our program by listening, supporting and serving.  Please pray with us that as we turn our sights to 2010 that the relationships that have been formed, and those that are still forming, will be a firm foundation in which all our moms see the love of Jesus and their goals realized this year.
