Summer plans for Teen Mother Choices.

While many of our programs have officially ended for the Lifeskills year, the staff and board are still busy working behind the scenes for the fall semester. God has been faithful as we transitioned staff and commissioned our sister ministry, TMCInternational. We continue to use our "down days" of summer to train staff, recruit volunteers and board members, evaluate programs and take needed rest from the rigors of weekly programs. I have been amazed at how the ministry continues to grow even in the midst of change. We are excited to see the growth and maturity of the teen mothers despite the complex needs and situations they face each day. It is only through the truth and grace of God and the obedience of His servants that our families can become contributing members of society. We take comfort in knowing that when teen mothers participate in the TMC program, they also become better acquainted with their Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through Him and his provision that has allowed the ministry to move forward. Over the next year, the staff and board will continue to answer the question, “Where do we go from here?”  As we face the 2010-11 program year, TMC looks forward to the near and distant future to plan and ask the Lord where we are to follow. We will continue to better meet the needs of teen mothers, secure the  ministry's finances, increase communication and promotional programs, as well as meet staff and volunteer training needs. The Board of Directors and I are committed to solidifying and strengthening the ministry of Teen Mother Choices so that we can continue to be the model for future programs as it has for the near 40 similar programs across the country.
