Teen Mother Choices changed my life

I joined the Teen Mother Choices' program in Arlington Heights in 1992 when my daughter Amber was only three months old.  I was a sophomore in high school.  Through the help of Teen Mother Choices, I finished high school, graduated from cosmetology school and worked until I could afford my own apartment.  Today, I'm married, have two more children and my husband adopted my daughter.  Teen Mother Choices changed my life.  I know I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for them.  I am so grateful for Teen Mother Choices.

Teen Mother Choices provided Sue and Amber with specific services that met their individual needs. Through its program to provide teenage mothers with financial assistance for childcare, Sue was able to finish high school and cosmetology training.  Through caring Christian volunteers, Sue found a temporary place to live before moving into her own apartment as well as people who offered a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen during some difficult times in her young life.

Sue is an incredible mother who has grown into a compassionate woman helping others in need as a way of giving back.
