TMC Mission Statement

- To demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to teenage mothers.

- To empower teenage mothers to become independent,    functioning members of society while giving their children
   the best possible life start by addressing their physical,
   emotional and spiritual needs, within the local community.

- To mobilize the Christian community to demonstrate Christ's love to teenage mothers and their children.

Teen Mother Choices serves women:

• Between the ages of 13 and 23

• Who have already had their children and have chosen to parent them

• Who have not yet obtained their high school diploma, OR

• Who are transitioning from high school to full-time employment, college course
work, or technical/certificate programs.

Teen Mother Choices offers:

• Childcare while the teenage mother is at work or school

• Lifeskills Workshops

• Mentors

• Guidance and assistance in setting goals

• Referrals as appropriate

Teen mothers receiving assistance from Teen Mother Choices must be willing to:

• Attend school or work full-time

• Maintain a grade of at least "C" in all classes

• Delay a subsequent pregnancy

• Attend weekly Lifeskills Workshops
